Constructing multipartite Bell inequalities from stabilizers

چکیده
Bell inequality with self-testing property has played an important role in quantum information field both fundamental and practical applications. However, it is generally challenging to find inequalities for multipartite states actually there are not many known candidates. In this work, we propose a systematical framework construct from stabilizers which maximally violated by general stabilizer states, two observables each local party. We show that the constructed can self-test any state essentially device-independent, if only these uniquely determine device-dependent manner. This bridges gap between device-independent verification methods. Our provide plenty of states. Among them, give families different advantages: (1) family constant ratio classical bounds using 2N correlations, (2) Single pair improving on all previous robustness N+1 efficient suitable realizations systems. inspire more fruitful conventional methods, but also pave way their

Experimental violation of multipartite Bell inequalities with trapped ions.
We report on the experimental violation of multipartite Bell inequalities by entangled states of trapped ions. First, we consider resource states for measurement-based quantum computation of between 3 and 7 ions and show that all strongly violate a Bell-type inequality for graph states, where the criterion for violation is a sufficiently high fidelity. Second, we analyze Greenberger-Horne-Zeili...
متن کاملQuadratic bell inequalities as tests for multipartite entanglement.
This Letter presents quantum mechanical inequalities which distinguish, for systems of n spin- 1 / 2 particles ( n>2), between fully entangled states and states in which at most n-1 particles are entangled. These inequalities are stronger than those obtained by Gisin and Bechmann-Pasquinucci [Phys. Lett. A 246, 1 (1998)] and by Seevinck and Svetlichny [quant-ph/0201046].
متن کاملTesting for multipartite quantum nonlocality using functional bell inequalities.
We show that arbitrary functions of continuous variables, e.g., position and momentum, can be used to generate tests that distinguish quantum theory from local hidden variable theories. By optimizing these functions, we obtain more robust violations of local causality than obtained previously. We analytically calculate the optimal function and include the effect of nonideal detectors and noise,...
متن کاملBell inequalities from multilinear contractions
We provide a framework for Bell inequalities which is based on multilinear contractions. The derivation of the inequalities allows for an intuitive geometric depiction and their violation within quantum mechanics can be seen as a direct consequence of non-vanishing commutators. The approach is motivated by generalizing recent work on non-linear inequalities which was based on the moduli of comp...
متن کاملBell-type Inequalities from Separate Common Causes
In the light of recent discussions we present the main results of our project, the aim of which was to derive a Bell-type inequality from the weakest possible assumptions. A principal outcome of the project is that a Bell-type inequality can be derived from the assumption of separate common causes (Graßhoff, Portmann and Wüthrich 2005), even without the assumption of perfectly anticorrelating e...
